This Popular RM1 CD Player Art Frame on Kickstarter Brings Back the Nostalgia I Needed and Offers to Up 55% Off in Late Pledge Rewards

As part of IGN Finds, we are sharing cool things we find across the internet that we actually like, whether it be the latest LEGO idea, upcoming fandom merch or TCG drops, gaming preorders or the biggest tech deals.

One of the latest items on my radar this month is this SYITREN RM1: Frame Your Music, A Living Art CD Player, found on Kickstarter. There are thousands of Kickstarter projects popping up every month, but it's not often I see one that hits both music and 90s' nostalgia.

If you're old cool enough to have had any CD player growing up, then you get the appeal here. This takes me back to the simpler days in the 1990s and early 2000s, loading up my clunky six-disc CD player with the latest pop album, Now That's What I Call Music release, burned CD mixes, and movie soundtracks like Shrek and Grease. I'll admit I didn't think I'd see the day where I would want to put my CDs on display, or listen to them anywhere besides in my car, but here we are. It's time to bust out my CD binder again.

Late Pledgers Can Save up to 55% on the RM1 CD Player​

We first spotted this CD Player last month, and were impressed by its slick design and versatility. Since we posted this Tweet in early August, the Kickstarter is now at $543,895 from over 4,500 backers and counting.

About the SYITREN RM1​

This CD Player can be mounted on the wall, or on display via detachable stands on any shelf, table or desk. It includes transparent, dual-layer acrylic and precision metal pillars, showing the CD spin. It also displays light throughout the frame, via a warm yellow 2x8 LED matrix.

For the actual audio, you can pledge to get the RM1’s speaker with the CD player as part of the bundle. Or, you can use your own speaker, as this RM1 CD player uses Bluetooth 5.3 and connects to standard Bluetooth speakers (within approximately 10 meters).
