GTA 6 physical copies have begun arriving at retailers ahead of its release next week. Whilst the game does not come out until November 19th, code in box copies will be sent out and put on sale by retailers from November 12th. Game case copies have been distributed by Take-Two and Rockstar to retailers and some staff have posted images of it showing some new content.
As you can see from the images below shared by Reddit user u/IseeIceTea, we’ve got our first real life look at the game case for PS5. There’s nothing new to write about for the front cover but the back does drop some new tidbits. Under the feature list, it states that the game requires 230GB of space to install. Rockstar previously said it would be 212GB in size.

Pair that with an icon on the back saying it has online functions, perhaps this space is reserved for the next version of GTA Online that will seemingly launch next year. Or perhaps the “online functions” simply means the ability to purchase the Ultimate Edition upgrade pack from within the game. There’s also 3 new screenshots showing Lucia, Jason and a plane flying over the keys.
We can also offer an update to a previous story regarding a GTA VI poster. On Friday, retailer MediaMarkt shared images of a double-sided GTA VI poster. As per messages sent to fans by the retailer, we can now confirm every code in box copy of GTA VI will come with this poster inside. There’s no map but at least we know this poster is official and from Rockstar.
In other Grand Theft Auto VI news, we shared how you can play GTA VI nearly a day before release here. Plus, the game’s download size has changed and it reveals some potential censorship.
