Abrams ComicArts is debuting the latest in its ongoing MarvelArts series of original graphic novels. This time, the focus is on the Sorcerer Supreme as he battles foes both iconic and obscure in Doctor Strange: Endless Nightmare.

With Doctor Strange: Endless Nightmare in stores now, IGN can exclusively debut a new preview of this epic, psychedelic graphic novel. Check it out in the slideshow gallery below:

Doctor Strange: Endless Nightmare reunites the creative team behind Dune: The Official Graphic Novel, including writer Kevin J. Anderson and artists Raúl Allén and Patricia Martín. Here's the official summary of the book:

When Stephen Strange encounters a mysterious patient at his hospital who won’t stop raving about how life is “nothing but the dream of a sleeping god,” the rest of the world is suddenly struck with insomnia. In order to prevent chaos from unfolding as the people around him become more and more desperate for sleep, Doctor Strange must embark into the mind of the madman who seems to have heralded this disaster, taking a psychedelic trip into the Nightmare Realm.

“The character of Doctor Strange has access to so many bizarre realms, I wanted to introduce him to a dark and twisted Lovecraft-inspired story.” said Anderson in a statement. “I brought in an important and popular villain in the Doctor Strange universe, as well as another villain who has never appeared since Stan Lee and Steve Ditko created him in 1964’s Dr. Strange #122. It was amazing to play in this universe.”

Doctor Strange: Endless Nightmare is available in bookstores now, You can order a copy on Amazon.

Abrams ComicArts also recently released Marvel Dimensions, the latest original graphic novel from Kingdom Come's Alex Ross.
