well, i bought GW ages ago.. got real bored and quit. i made an ele/nec :/ 14 warrior/monk and monk/mes..

anyway im so damn lost. i come back and i have 500 gold lol (im not asking for money btw, just funny how poor i am on there) and crappy ass'd gear compared to wat i see on here.

cant kill shit lol.. uh i cant do that ring of fire mission either.. went into 3 groups before, 2 died at the START.. and one group we couldnt even get past this one bit.


what should i do? :S

i tried farmin those trolls at droknars.. meh. got a few items but its just lame.

Start some new characters.
Re-learn the game and such.

Imo, make a new character and/or select your current char, play the game from the beginning, so you get the good old 'gw spirit' back into you. (If you ever had it  )

If not, Play thru nightfall, it's very easy.

i would keep it ele nec sine thats how u started it at, but ya mabe go to some fan sites read up a bit on some of the quests, farm a bit more i would try that ring of fire quest with a better group or just level a bit more so you would be able to help a bit more with it, othre then that nightfall is actualy really easy and might give u the will to play again

imo e/mo or e/me, e/mo is nice for beginners and e/me has Echo, a very powerful skill ^^

Ele/mesmer is nice to use..

Also try using some different skills.. I guess you are a fire ele as that is everybodies first choice..
try using water magic skills and see how you Get on with that.

I would make a new character to get you motivated to play through the rest of the game. Doing this you should acquire gold and general knowledge about the game itself. I would also change to E/Me as Echo + Meteor Shower pretty much kills everything in PvE.

Try joining a guild that will help you out. Honestly, if you don't have a solid foundation of friendly and helpful people to play with and ask questions ingame and they show you, it gets kind of rediculous. And also (as mentioned) a new character would help you re-learn the game. Cheers to coming back to gw!

i'd go check out pvxwiki.com for some "Great" farming builds, just choose one which you think you'd like to use and then build a char around that for starters, then try different stuff etc...
